When it comes to using natural ingredients to dye Easter eggs the first one that comes to mind is the skin of an onion.
However, there are other ways to dye Easter eggs to create that natural look that best fits your interior space or decor style.
The strong natural colors of plants, herbs, vegetables, spices or dried fruits can nicely stain eggs. You can experiment with how strong you want the color of the eggs to be by how long you leave the eggs in the dye, as that will determine the intensity and depth of the color.
It will not make a difference if you choose to dye your eggs with herbs, plants, vegetables, fruits or spices, the process of dyeing will be the same.
Transfer the eggs into a small bowl, sprinkle the eggs with the chopped herbs, plants, vegetables, fruits or spices (paprika or curry) and pour cold water over them.
Add a spoonful of vinegar and bring to a boil for 15-20 min. Remove from stove, let cool and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
